Also, what do you think is a fair price for a comp frameset? There's one on eBay right now... |

Wrong thread. Wrong bike. Very wrong color. Is that even Specialized? The bike behind it looks like it may be interesting. |

rich i thought you were selling the comp? kinda wish i hadnt sold my frame... still havent replaced it.
|
This might be the only picture I have left of my Langster; It was my first new-off-the-rack bike ever and my first fixed-gear (I rode it purely as a singlespeed at first, because I was terrified of riding fixed at first, haha), and the bike that made me decide that I hate aluminum (but love light bikes and carbon).
Anyway, here's me on top of Mt. Diablo (and yeah, I did San Bruno, too :D ). I set it up 42x20 fixed to go up, then flipped the wheel to the freewheel to get back down. http://i43.tinypic.com/33mpd9k.jpg |

Impressive ride!
It was brutal- I'd partied/drank the previous night, barely slept, and didn't eat much of a breakfast. I almost quit about halfway up, but met someone that motivated me to the top (mostly by lieing to me about exactly how much further I had to ride, hah). I actually ended up only a few minutes behind my friends, who were armed with a couple of really nice bikes. |

Quoted from Specialized 06 Langster Comp specs - "FORK Specialized FACT carbon fork, bonded carbon fiber legs, 7075 alloy threadless steerer" I thought mine was carbon too but the specs say differently |
