Love the BB detail. |
they're very nice frames, think they're just resprayed HED Aerolab ones though. I'd love one I have to admit. I saw two sweet cervelo's today at a TT like these:

mmmmmm......that would look SICK next to my px hardtail. i wonder what the cost will be? maybe i can sell a kidney or two to get one.
Think the HED ones are $1200/£700 so I guess about the same for the planet-x
I want the Zebdi, in the trials section.

im with you rev!!!! we can teach these guys a thing or 2 about balance ;) |
I sent an email about price to the US distributor. Here's the reply. Too bad I don't have the cash to toss around and it's a supernice frame I'd bust up from riding it recklessly.....
Thanks for your enquiry We developed that frame here in the US, it was originally made for the Florida Cycling Track Team. The frames on the UK website are simply the new colors Frame cost as follows: Frame $490 (comes complete with integral headset) Carbon Pro, Fork $182 Carbon Pro, Aero Seat post $94 If you are interested in the complete package, I may be able to offer you a deal. |
that's not a bad price...integral headset though....*sigh*...
$766 for the frame/fork/headset/seat post.. What wheels would you guys use? I think you would have to go with something like the Zipp 404 or whatever to keep the high-tech look going.. :D At that point I think I may feel a little ridiculous riding down to the corner store though.

black phils, black spokes, black cxp-33s. EFFF that carbon ish...
i wouldn't really trust zipps for city riding on anything other than smooth roads. i heard one exploded into a million pieces at the uc davis road race two years ago and the road was citylike (or worse) conditions. keeping everything black and STEALTH like would rule. then i'd just attach a big phaser photon ray to the handlebars.
that's a hot frame. i'd go with hed trispokes or suzue promax cf hubs for wheels.
uber.
loving the diamond shaped tubing. why's the bb shaped like that? aerodynamics? i'd go for nimble crosswinds or fly's. in black. ofcourse. fssb sparky |
Looks like one stiff ass frameset; awesome.
I hear Macdonalds has a new hambuurger out too. Woohoo!
Ugly!

For Legalize it, from when I had hair, Eastern Woods Research mod frame (It is single speed (24-17 with 19"x3" tire)
wow, i dont usually like mod frames, but that one has beautiful geometry!!! i like the stem bc its not a super long reach one, those are ugly. do you still get to ride it much? do you run the freewheel on the crank or the hub?

I don't ride it to much any more. the freewheel is on the hub. I ride this now (And I apologise for the hijacking)
