Custom Graphics/Decals

Does anyone know a significant manufacturer (can include IRO, etc) that has the ability to execute group orders of bikes with custom decals? I know one can order frames from overseas and create a custom branded bike, but I am looking for a company that has a good bike (built) that could use my design on their frame.

Nice idea, would love to try something like this!

It depends where you're coming from, you could get vynls printed and wrap the bikes with that or there's also the option of going to a custom builder for more unique bikes (e.g. prize for big competition) and have them sprayed with whatever design you want.

If you've got an image or something I could work it into a clear printable version in whatever format ya need if you want to go the printing route (Graphic designer, used to that stuff) if you're not able yourself!

Let us know how ya get on either way!

As I said, custom would prolly be handiest, purely because they're not automatically painted!

The choice is yours, once you buy the bikes, they're yours to do whatever the heck ya want to them! I'm just suggesting different options!

Some bike manufacturers that I like are:

https://alienbikes.com/gear.html

https://www.fastboycycles.com/index.html

Have a look around online, these are necessarily the best, just options! If you want a more mainstream bike then the best bet is to ring around different manufacturers and see what their view is. It will more than likely depend on how many you are buying to be taken seriously, although I'm sure you're not the first to want a custom paint job!

Good luck!

If I'm correct, you're looking to work with a distributor to brand their frames with your own marque? The problem is in the cost of delivery. When IRO, for example, gets a shipment of frames for a group buy, the price is discounted to the consumer, but IRO still makes a worthwhile profit. Perhaps you could work with a company who would be willing to take a minimal profit on a large quantity order to help you out, but I wouldn't count on it. Also, for the cost you pay to acquire the frames, you will have to raise your prices accordingly to make a profit. When you think about it, what advantage would buyer find in buying a rebranded frame at a higher cost than something that is already on ther market from an established distributor?

Believe me, I have thought about the possibilities, but it isn't easy to get into the business without significant capital, connections and/or outside investors.

If you're truly interested and don't know where to start, try something like this: https://www.alibaba.com/product-free/...ame_Track.html You will be able to acquire a "sample" at a near wholesale cost that you could build up and brand and see if you can generate some interest. In this business, there is a great deal of competition. Listen to your peers here, ignore the ones who just want to dismiss anything that doesn't fit their self-perceived notion of what is acceptable, and provide excellent customer service. If you build the right bike, you will get business.
