Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

New SS enters the world!!

Finally got the SS finished, and holy s***!!! that thing is fun. I have it geared really low for easy stop and go riding and sprinting between classes. I love this bike, and ive only ridden it about a mile. I don't understand why anyone wouldn't want to ride one of these. The "hill" on campus wasn't too hard, but its only a small grade/short run. I absolutely love this thing!! God bless singlespeeds!!!

Which one? The one that isn't on here because i don't have a digital camera? The photos in my previous post were from the guy who gave it to me. The cranks are different now, i have 32:16 on it, and a Selle Itala saddle. Not the best for long road trips, but perfect for jack rabbit rides around campus and this horrible city
