night vision

what about an early morning weekend ride?

night rides are for the weak. morning rides are nice when combined with breakfast / hangovers.

hasn't this been the 5th time this thread has been started?

Bikes: Custom Frame, 36s Paul Comp hubs w/ TSB by Marcus@Yojimbos, Campy Headset, Selle It. Gelflow / Campy Seatpost, Nitto stem, Sugoi 75 165 Cranks w/ crap BB, 3/16" chain, Yellow Techno 21s.

Yeah, everyone is always like "let's do a ride" and everyone says, "YEAH LETS DO IT!" and then that's all.

But I'm with Naz, if it gets sorted this time I'll be there.

And I'm with Al5, if it's early morning weekend I'm ****ing there for sure.

dumpstervegan: For the record I did go for a group ride last weekend, it just ended up being a group of me, myself, and I. We fought, cried, and went our own ways. As for riding: if there's food involved, I'm in

Set up some possible times and dates and we'll do a vote.

We can do a morning ride and then get lunch at the Handlebar.

well I know that you are taking a vote for a bigger group ride, but would anyone be interested in a ride this Saturday, the 6th, morning? Meet up about eight thirty or so. Maybe grab some food and cof-ay along the way somewhere.

Just trying to throw something out there that is definite.

I MAY be up for it. I think I am riding with a friend that morning in any case. So we could meet up with you.

Please post the time and location once you have a definitive answer.

ok, I am a morning person but 6am would be crazy.

If anyone wants to meet up I will be leaving from Clark and Howard at 8 am. I will head south into the city and if anyone would like to hook up along the way, just shout. We can meet up somewhere.

No real plan about route or length, except that it will be south into the city. If anyone wants to hook up anywhere along the way we can go from there.

Like I said it will probably involve some food and coff-ay along the way. Just let me know.

Borders!!?!! Borders??!??

Here that whooshing sound? It's the Chicago Fixie Crowd's street cred plummeting into the abyss.

Do they have a Starbucks in the Borders? You all could go there and grap a frappucinno after you ride up and down the sidewalk a couple of times.

Cha...Y'all may as well go meet at the Lincoln Park VW dealership and troll for Trixies...Sounds like you TrixieMales may be just what they are looking for...

Hmmm...methinks there's a Chad in hiding Schiek...you.
You're the one with your finger on the VW dealership. I knew the El Camino pic was from your 'slummin' days

Hey, my wife's Passat is a WAGON! And she's an emergency clinic veterinarian...too much blood and guts for a Trixie.

Oh and as my indisputable piece of evidence that she is no Trixie and I am no Chad...she makes more money than I do, yet still married me.

Only cause she couldn't foot the bill for the SUV VW.

A VW is a VW is a VW.

Then again, I don't get the who trixie thing really.

Beyond that, I'd get hung if anyone knew what I drive, and what my espousa drives.

I can't believe you found that. You suck for being that good at that. Just for that I'm gonna call you CHAD. What ever that is, it seems to be the appropriate insult.

Wait,

That's not me. Yeah, that's it. Not me.

I"m gonna go hide now.

So, is you're new jeep trail rated? I would hate to think the kid in the soapbox H2 could take you.

Same old jeep. Just bigger tires, ARB lockers, better skids, and a roll cage that won't collapse and smash my @#$#$ head in. 1998, 101 thousand miles now. H2's suck. Rebadged Chevy truck with a 5 link rear. Nothing special there. To wide too.
