Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

fixed gear riding would be even more interesting if your bike did actually explode into a million pieces when you hit negative grades in the road.

You lack the requisite pretension. Convert a pristine, geared Panasonic to get in touch with your Zen roots.

fixed gear riding is track riding--- if you add the constant barrage of obsticles on the streets of the
city-- the hills,, the crazy drivers and situations--- you have a genre that makes one ride in a way
that is unique and, may I humbley say, worthy of a trophy if you make it home.........
meals taste better
my whiskey tastes better......
