that is a pretty bike. The fork threw me a bit at first but I like how it almost disappears into the carbon of the wheels. Almost looks forkless. Very nice.

lattanzio 09-26-08 08:28 AM

that looks really nice with the wound up fork. id take it.

baxtefer 09-26-08 10:22 AM

his typeface is still ugly. different, but still ugly.

he actually managed to make it uglier...

thinkLove 09-26-08 11:12 AM

don walker, i wouldn't mind if you hired me to create a better logotype for your bikes, ya know?

queerpunk 09-26-08 02:51 PM

SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT, that's a lovely bicycle!

joetronic 09-26-08 03:40 PM

Looks nice. But IMo the wheels are "too much" for that thinner fork. Looks kinda off.

sneaky viking 09-26-08 05:21 PM

What's the deal with seatmasts? Lighter?

You should never buy anything from that guy. THere are plenty of boutique framebuilders who you can buy from without idiotic attitude.

I just checked my bank account; there's no danger of me buying one of his creations any time soon.

If you listen to this place, any boutique builder isn't worth buying because they've already sold out, are too gimmicky, or horrendously overpriced.

Only because they want Vanilla bikes at Lager prices.

Woundup forks have a good reputation for track use.

Aero wheels have a good reputation for going fast.

joetronic 09-27-08 09:27 AM

I know its meant to be raced. I get they are there for a reason. Just looks off to me.

jaysilent 09-27-08 10:16 AM

sexy bike

deadforkinglast 09-27-08 01:49 PM

What a ****ing sexy bike. Someday, maybe.

deathhare 09-27-08 01:56 PM

No, you don't brass braze 953- I'm sure this one is bare steel with some kind of clear coat.

It is a sweet bike though!:thumb:

My guess would be stiffer. I doubt there would be any weight savings. Keep in mind this was custom built for one person's specs so you only need a CM or so of adjustment for the seat tube.
