Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

that is a pretty bike. The fork threw me a bit at first but I like how it almost disappears into the carbon of the wheels. Almost looks forkless. Very nice.

Looks nice. But IMo the wheels are "too much" for that thinner fork. Looks kinda off.

If you listen to this place, any boutique builder isn't worth buying because they've already sold out, are too gimmicky, or horrendously overpriced.

Woundup forks have a good reputation for track use.

Aero wheels have a good reputation for going fast.

No, you don't brass braze 953- I'm sure this one is bare steel with some kind of clear coat.

My guess would be stiffer. I doubt there would be any weight savings. Keep in mind this was custom built for one person's specs so you only need a CM or so of adjustment for the seat tube.
