I am patient. Dealing with the ********, such as you, requires it.

In the waiting room
I don't want the news
I'm not a part of it
I don't want the news
I have no use for it
Sitting outside of town
Everybody's always down
Tell me why... because they can't get up
But I don't sit idly by
I'm planning a big surprise
I'm gonna fight for what I want to be
I won't make the same mistakes
Because I know how much time that wastes
Function is the key
In the waiting room

Or those people tend to think that it's a whole new place to park the car.
I really love Cambridge where the cops do nothing about the parked cars, but if you get up on the sidewalk they are all over you.

The problem with those damn bike lanes is that people expect you to stay completely within them and within "dooring" range.

here in berkeley, there's a street with a SUPER WIDE bike lane, and it's clearly marked as such, and i see cars driving in it all the time. most people also use the bike lanes at stop lights as right turn lanes. god that pisses me off. i feel like i'm living in a small town again where no one knows how to deal with cyclists on the roads. i go to SF sometimes and it's all GO GO GO DO DO DO GET THERE NOW!!! and i've never really been mess with on my bike (except by BART cops). then i come back "home" to berkeley and it's like the millenium falcon coming out of lightspeed. everything just sloooows waaaaay doooown, and i realise that the traffic here isn't half as bad as it is there and i'm making unprotected left turns like a maniac! WEEEE LOOK AT ME GO!!!!
