You live in Boston?
Great. Do me a favor?:
I am planning a trip out to Boston for next spring. I've been there a few times, but only to visit family. Now I am going out, with my bicycle, to catch some Red Sox games, ride my bike, drink, and have a good time.
Can you recommend some good spots I should check out? Whether it be for riding, drinking, eating, or whatever.
Thanks guys!
btw- if sedition is reading this, I know you can help!

Forget Boston. Cross the river and spend your nights in Cambridge. You might start at Redbones for a fantastic selection of beers and great bbq. They are a very bike-friendly establishment, with bicycle valet until midnight. After that, hop on the bike and continue to more bars in Inman or Central Square.

Cool. Thanks dudes. I also started a thread over @ lambgoat.com/mb. They suggested some place called Bukowski's... any good?

Bukowski's got one of the best beer slections in town. It's around the corner from Berklee, not far from the ball park. There is another bar over that way I like called TC's Lounge.
[edit]
I forgot to mention the Other Side Cafe if ur in the Berklee area. Corner of Mass ave and Newbury. Cheap pitchers and popular w/the bike crowd.
[/edit]
Like jmberg mentioned, Central Sq is a must stop too. Lots of places to eat and drink.

otherside cafe definitely for the bike crowd and food with vegetarian/vegan options if your into that. pretty good priced pitchers of pbr but also not as easy to find stuff on tap.
always see cool bikes locked up outside there.

If you're in Washington Square area, Brookline (washington street and beacon) check out the Public house. It's a pretty good beer bar, though it seems always crowded as of late.
I would ride through Cambridge. In my limited experience Cambridge is much more bike friendly: More bike lanes, more bikes (and fixed gears), (and some would say better bars). I've just had a better experience there. Hit up Harvard Square and take your pick of bars. I like Charlies Beer Garden, especially upstairs on Tuesday nights (Karaoki)
One thing you can do, if you like hills, is take commonwealth Ave all the way out to route 16. Heartbreak is fun to ride down (though a few intersections). Take a right onto route 16 in less than a mile is Harris Cyclery.

i would make sure you hit up anna's taqueria for a burrito. they are the best ive ever had. there is one on beacon st and one on harvard ave, both very near to coolidge corner in brookline, also one on cambridge st near beacon hill. actually you should go get a burrito at the cambridge st annas, then walk around the corner a couple blocks to this bar the sevens (77 charles st, beacon hill). my friends dad owns it, but in all seriousness it is a great bar. they were called the real cheers when cheers was on tv. the have darts and were also the first bar to serve harpoon beer in the 80's or when ever they started. ohh yeah and get some harpoon on tap anywhere you go. their UFO and IPA are my two favorite beers, plus its brewed just a couple miles away in south boston! cant beat that for freshness

Thanks for all the feedback dudes.
So here's what I am thinking:
I was contacted by another BF member about some places to check out via PM. He brought up getting together and having beers when I roll through. How about we coordinate a meetup at a local bar? I know it's a ways away and we can set **** up when the date gets closer, but it would be ruling to get together with all you bostonian bike dorks and drink. Let's do it. I KNOW sedition and iloveboston will be in.

He needs to be our full time short stop next season. Drop the Loogs, he's a liability.
I'm not too worried about the (don't say devil) rays. They are young and are, I'm sure, very nervous. It'll be a battle but the sox will crush 'em.
I don't think I mentioned yet in this thread that I am, and have been all my life, a HUGE red sox fan.
