So, I just got my medium black bag. While wearing it not even all the way full, the upper part of the strap where the u lock holder is is on top of my shoulder. Over all the strap seems a bit too small. I am fairly average sized 5'9 and about 185. Is this normal?

Not sure if this is normal, but that's how it is for me too. I have to really tighten the strap to make it work. It's weird cause that's not how the pics on their site look.

Where does the buckle sit when you have it on?
I have a large Black Bag, strap seems fine to me.
When it's cinched up the buckle is right on the sternum, when it's all loosey goosey, buckle is in front of my left shoulder, i'm assuming its sort of what you guys are describing. But I could be totally off point here...

I agree that the strap is a little small. The u-lock holder doesn't really work for me (I'm a big guy at 280. my chest is pretty damn big for this thing), and when fully loaded, i can barely get it on when it's fully slack. Nowhere on the website's pics does it show people having this problem. They all seem to have ample room for cinching.
