Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

When you choose your frame and build your bike, can you by-pass tires, rims, or other components. Can you pick and chose what you want? Seems like you have to by tires, etc when you check out.

Adam, do you really need to ask these kinds of questions on a daily basis?

I think you just need to start a thread "Adam G's questions" and you can post all your simple questions in that thread, instead of starting a new one every other day.

This is me trying to say this nicely.

Besides the fact that the answer to this question is seemingly a bit obvious, Adam has started 10 threads since September 3rd .. doesn't seem like too many to me. Somebody has to start the threads.
