I actually think they're pretty groovy bikes, especially with the changes they've made to them in the last two iterations.

I'm waiting for someone to trash it based on no drop levers like the BD/Moto UNO...lol

I dig it...but have to look at it & say you don't really need a *new* bike to build/own that bike....but if you just want to stroke the cash & have a bike there it is!

i dont think you should have a brooks on a bike meant for the rain. i love brooks but they can't get wet.

I don't have a brooks saddle, but in general if you care for leather, it will last forever. Look at old horse saddles & stuff. There's a reason for the saying "rode hard & put up wet" & I think it would apply pretty well to a leather bike saddle.

it doesnt matter about horse saddles or whatever. I have had many Brooks saddles and know many others who have also. It is simply a well known fact that Brooks saddles are not to be ridden or left out in the rain. Do some research on it if you don't believe me.

You only get to see something for the first time once.

I also have had a Brooks for over 25 years, and it has been in the rain countless time since its first year. It was well cared with regular leather treatment and never had a problem.

The One Way is a beautiful bike.

This thread turned into a Brooks argument, but yeah, I think Raleigh did a good job on that bike. Hopefully other brands will follow them into the market and give us lots of choices.

and for that matter, what's wrong with Buicks? LeSabre sounds like a cool name for a production fixie, right? It's so uncool, it's cooler than cool. But, you've got to see it to see it, if you know what I mean

Simple and classy, not a bad bike at all. I think if I wanted that look, I would do the build myself though.

I really liked the One Way's style. Raleigh's Rush Hour looked pretty nice this year too, but I dont really dig straight forks. The top tube badge that Raleigh puts on its frames are pretty sweet.
