Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

A few people have also commented that the brakes were wrong when they too are as stock as the rest of the bike and the bike came with a pair of them which was again, a common feature since an ss freewheel may have been used. My Lenton has a double stepped hub for a fixed / fixed set up.

65, you are the man on so many more levels now...

I just wish I had the space for more than 1 bike in Manhattan.

I'm late to this one, but your orange bike with all the campy components is quite obviously porn Bris. Don't let these haters try and say it's not...

If a ****ing Fuji Track Pro is porn, yours certainly is too.

What type of frame is it?

I think this one got kind of overlooked because of all the drama. If nothing else, bigbris1 has the cow pattern tape, white veeps to formulas, no-name cranks, $10 pedal set-ups and ugly-ass saddle beat.

For the record, I actually really like his new ride, despite it's owner.

I have 14 bikes... giving them all enough attention can be a challenge sometimes.

That Lenton was a 1 owner bike before I acquired it and the fellow who owned it rode and raced it regularly for over 50 years... and demolished the competition despite the fact they were riding newer and shinier bikes.

It is a bike I will never part with.

I'm pretty sure I've seen a video of the guy who owns this bike riding it on dirt trails with the disc. How insane is that? I applaud him. To hell with caring about how expensive your components are!

The bike doesn't exist anymore. He was riding back from Interbike this year, a cab pulled out in front of him, and goodbye Track Machine. It's alright though, he bought another full carbon beast to replace it. Oh yea, and he machines his own hubs.

BTW, that whole video was made as a joke too

not pr0n at all. dp's automatically disqualifies it. the frame looks very nice though. pleasantly surprised to see all the geared bits have been left alone.
