Yes, heaven forbid someone puts anything besides NJS on their bike. What in the HELL were they thinking? I mean, don't they know that all Weinmanns will split on you? I mean Hell, if you're going to have an NJS frame, you have to do a full NJS build because, ya' know, you're going to be riding in Keirin races and all.

Why spend over 800 on a frame [probably more because it's a Makino] and not put a nice wheelset on it? I wouldnt ride NJS wheels for the road, but cmon, Wienmanns? You could get a much stronger clincher set [Open Pro] and you wouldn't look like an idiot with white rims. Nice ass frame though. Saw a Makino in Philly today. Gorgeous.

Is that paint? It looks like faux snake skin a.k.a. vinyl from a craft store was wrapped around the tubes.It looks like the drops are wrapped in it also.

you can tell by looking at the reflections, light would reflect evenly off of paint but you can see the texture in the reflection

I think it looks like a Colnago with stem shifters, which is a tad confusing to me...
