Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I have never seen this wheelset in a track hub configuration.

I do love this wheelset, that's the dura ace set I think.
It's no D-A. It's actually a budget wheel set. Very unreliable btw.

You know, I just realized what it is about BMC's logo that makes me like it.. Notice any similarities??

I know it's a little bit of a stretch but I can't help but to be reminded of the De-Lo.

From Birmingham. Go to school at Bama so I currently live in Tuscaloosa. What part of the ATL are you in? I used to live in Norcross for a bit, not that that's ATL really. Just close enough (far away enough) to the city for it to annoy the **** out of you every time you have to get on the highway or do anything downtown.

You guys should have made it down for the alleycat we had Sat. It was BRUTAL! Fun was had afterward though. Even the BMXers came and did tailwhips. Good times. I'm prally (not Prolly) coming to see Eagles of Death Metal next weekend.. Any cycling-related good times I should be aware of? Haven't riden there fixed.. ever. Woah. That's kinda weird. Should be a fun weekend. Is No Brakes all it's cracked up to be? I don't even really know what that means, I guess I'm just asking if it's worth it to drop in whilst I'm in town. Suggestions?

I live in Midtown.
I think NoBrakes is great. I havent bought much there but they have a lot of stuff and the guys have always been very cool to me. You should def drop in when youre in town.
I dont know of any events happening soon but usually anything cool is posted on the NoBrakes site.

I live in Midtown too... not near NoBrakes but that's where I get all my bike stuff. They mark stuff up a good amount and they always try to get you to buy stuff you don't need, but the people are super nice and they sell good stuff.
