I am not sure what is wrong with somebody who can't appreciate a hand built carbon fiber bike (took him a month to build) that is innovative, creative, artistic, clean. But instead think a yellow piece of sh*t that should be thrown in the dumpster is porn. I get that the bike was nice when it came out, but it has been a long time since then and it is in terrible shape. Do you wack off to paintings of queen mary cause she is old and once popular?

And no, the white bike is not flexy like a noodle, it is super stiff. Pretty heavy as well, but stiff. And I am sure the rims aren't the strongest anymore since they were drilled out, but the bike also wasn't made for whip skids and bunny hopping 3 stairs. I bet you the rims on the white bike are still stronger than those on the yellow sh*t

Well, the yellow bike is a piece of history made for a very specific purpose; to ride very fast following a motorbike. Yes it looks weird and yes it looks like it hasn't been cared for, but it is still history.

What was that white bike built for? It looks like it was built for style. An expensive carbon frame with expensive looking TT bars with drilled deep alu rims (why?) and a ****ty crankset that has been anodized. It doesn't look like it was made for the track. It doesn't look like it's made for anything other than posing.

In that regard the yellow crap is more porn than the white bike unless you can defend the build.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the font.

Just gives the impression the person is either:

A) An idiot.
B) An idiot poser.

Kinda like those people you see with Kanji tattoos that are upside down!

haha, so its a phenomenon that occurs in Japan too?

I just assumed it happened in parts of the world where they cant read Kanji, let alone write it (I include myself in this statement).

has anyone else noticed that the steaming white heap is left side drive too?

Massive disk brake and bars that put weight way in front. this is a dedicated front flip machine for sure.

why can't the white one be porn in an artistic innovation perspective? The amount of time it took someone to make that machine is probably much more than any of us have spent on a bike. The specific purpose of this bike may not be to break records but it is very specifically custom and I don't konw about you but i have never seen one like it before. Pancake, not sure if you have ridden with disc brakes before but with the amount of control you get with disc and if you have ridden a bike before you won't just slam on the brakes to stop. You hit the front brakes too hard on any bike and you are going over the bars.

Taking a long ****, one that takes 3x as long as a normal ****, does not make it more artistic or original.

Oxford American dictionary:
innovative - introducing new ideas; original and creative in thinking.

How is a bike that you have never seen a similar design too before not innovative? Maybe none of you have ever been around nice cars. Ever been to a car show/exhibit. There is this aspect to design where it doesn't always have to be the fastest or lightest or strongest. It can just be new and funky and fun and well done. The white bike has all those things.

i think the white bike is pretty cool just cause it's different. It doesn't have a down tube or seat stays. Not saying I would ever buy it or even want to ride it, but it is different than most bikes. I didn't realize this thread was only for old Italian and Japanese track frames...

I think that most people are trying to act counter culture and just post old bikes so they dont look as though they are into new style of bikes.

not trying to knock your bike b/c it is pretty cool, but this is the bike porn thread and that's definitely not porn. At least not to 90% of the people on this board. If you get your jollies off of Haro bikes, maybe we can start a deviant porn thread for you lol.
