Pedal Straps Question

I ride normal toeclips and straps, but i do alot of freestyle on my fixed gear and really like the idea of platform pedals with the single thick horizontal strap. (saw this on ted james's bike check) is this a custom mod or does someone make these things?

yeah im gonna grab some up i think.. for how ive been riding i think they will do well, ivebeen riding fixed for just over a year i guess, just started doing tricks in the past couple months and have been finding the standard MKS clips/straps to be more hassle than i like. and yeah i tried searching but i couldnt figure out what to type.
