hey all,

i'm currently building up a new bike.. 1" threaded black frame, everything else is silver (rims, stem, hubs, crank, seatpost, bars, etc) .. i like the silver/black combo but i wanted to throw some color in w/ the tires and/or bar tape.

i dig the colors offered in the michelin pro 3 race tires (here) but they are only offered in 23mm - which seems to be the case for most coloured tires.

unless i'm missing any options? any 25 / 28mm tires with color that you guys know of?

otherwise, i'm going to fall back on gatorskins in 25mm, which was my original plan. i hear they're great tires and that really should be my priority (intead of.. colors). or i could get 23's, but i like to ride my bike hard and fast and on some ****ty roads. so 23's might be impractical. then again, the difference b/t 23 and 25 might be so damn minor anyway.

i'll also probably pick up one of these cinelli cork tapes.

maybe i should just get some colored tape and the gatorskins and call it a day.

thoughts? i've ordered every other part for this bike and i want to get the tire order over with already.

actually, i want to get it ordered so my obsession with bike parts, and choosing them, can end. at least for now. i can't wait to build this bike.

maybe a buildup thread is in order? with pictures?

Soma's Everwear tires and Vittoria Rubinos come in colors and sizes larger than 23c (although not in all colors). Colored tires in larger sizes are a little difficult to locate.

Continental GP 4000s come in 25c, but not in all colors.
