Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Well, butting and material is pretty much made to order, if I'm reading things correctly, so quality-wise, they sound good.

Quality : price, on the other hand, is an unknown.

Looks pretty, though.

I'm not a fan of the Chinese track ends, but that's pretty much to be expected.

I give it three "meh" out of five.

If you follow the link to the website, when you hit "About Us", right before an annoying photo takes out the text, there's something about Maxone being related to Maxway, a contract bike factory in Taiwan that builds bikes for a lot of brands. Looks like they decided to set up a storefront of some kind and market their own brand. Might be a decent source of cheap frames similar to Alien, IRO, Surly, Kogswell, Soma, etc. if you can order these by the 1's, but I'd be willing to bet that you'd need to order in at least the 100's to get their attention.

Group buy?
