green tyres

Hey guys, I'm looking for some green tyres for my bike, all green, green sidewalls, green tread, whatever, some component of green, and not horrible lime green, but like a good healthy kelly green... I feel like there was a post on here not ages ago, but I've searched and I'll be damned if I can find it...

only ones I've found so far are the Vittoria Open Pavé Evo CG, which sound like they'd be a very nice tyre, but they've got the pricetag to go with it, so I'm shopping around

Old Michelin Muds, if you can find them and fit them.

EDIT - This post is like a beartrap. I didn't read either. They like the green posted above, rather than a kelly green.

Yeah deathhare, which model vittoria is that, looks about perfect... Although I found a good price on the paves, so I'm leaning that way

You see what else is in that picture of the Zaffiros? A TPI of...26. That is insane. Take the matching color point deduction and get a MUCH, MUCH better tire for a few dollars more.

Some good choices, that do come in colors:
-Continental Grand Prix 4000 (330 tpi; 205 g/ Zaffiro is 26 tpi;240 g)
-Vittoria Corsas (smooth and soft, but not the greatest for high mileage or city/high debris areas)
-Michelin Pro Race (mine have worn/started to dry rot a bit on sidewalls, but never flatted on them)

Continental GPs are the best tire I've ever ridden. Over 200 miles a week on them and zero flats since I put them on this summer. I had liked Vittorias a lot, but started to get flatting issues with them. GP 4000 are great tires.

Sorry for trying to be helpful. Did you stop to think about that fact that not everybody would classify those tires as "horrible lime green?" And the last time I checked, many healthily ripe limes were pretty Kelly Green.

The Vittoria Zaffiros ride like a garden hose but they are super tough. I've never flatted them and they are great for skidding.

They are terrible for skidding. I skidded straight through one in two weeks.

thought I'd bump this to say I'm buying the original vittorias I found, cos reading up on them they sound like a quality item, and I found them cheapish here:

https://www.totalcycling.com/index.ph...A_PAVE_CG.html

edit: cheaper even https://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/produc...ue=VITTTYRF400 anyone know anywhere even better? haha
