Colors Advice for Frames
Hello- want some community input here. We are making the "Scrambler" track frames and currently only have them in Matte Black. One of our guys here at the shop had his painted white (pics below). How about some suggestions for production colors other than black?

Talk to my man Roy G. Biv about this. jk sorry
i dunno though... depending on how many you're selling you might wanna get them painted per order cause you want to be able to give the customer their size in their choice of color and even if you only made 2 colors to have one of each size in each color seems a little over the top to me.... just a suggestion

Matt colours are good. What about pearl paint or metal flake? They can look really class (but cost more)
Geometry-wise, can you adjust the TT to make it flat. Sloping TT's look like a compact road bike, and that seems to get frowned upon a bit.

Btw, I would definitely purchase a frame from you if other colors were available (particularly orange)

Stock 5 different colors of frames, parts, and wheels. Then fill out custom orders. Profit.

Dude, get a nice light blue or a cream going. That's classy as hell. Mint green isn't a bad idea either though.

Hey- thanks for all the input- keep it coming!
Hey- I agree that would be ideal, but with 7 sizes that would be 35 different frame types to keep in stock. With black & white and all the colored wheels/chains/chainrings/pedals/tires/etc we carry you can get a lot of variety.
I understand about the geometry issue- but it is very comfortable for city riding and helps with top tube clearance. I guess we weren't necessarily after the vintage look, more a fast fixed ride.

Yeah, I just didn't want to spend that much for one of their frames. I'm cheap - hence the affinity for PBR
What about finding a local painter and offering a few options for an additional price? If you limited it to a handful of basic colors and set up a contract with someone who could keep the paint stock on hand, you could probably do it for a small upcharge and quick turnaround. There's gotta be a bodyshop near the warehouse that would be willing to strike a deal.

I was actually debating buying one of these frames for my project bike. If you had white, I would have already ordered one. If you decide to make them in white (preferably pearl white) please pm me and let me know.
