GT Track....

Just picked up a GT Track frame, GTB, and After pulling the headset I'm looking to go threadless but I've heard it's impossible to find 1" steerer threadless forks (oh right I'm looking for carbon)... anyone with info about this post it up... or will it accept 1 1/8th headset?

Hrm, I didn't have a hard time finding one at all, I even have two carbon forks with 1 inch steerers---one has an aluminium steer-tube and the other is a full carbon steer-tube. Try ebay?

If you want to get rid of that GTB fork, let me know.

i thought the headset size is determined by the steerer tube from the fork?

Bikes: Univega Gran Premio, Custom MTB/SS/Commuter, Vintage Miele Fixie under construction

They are floating around, you'll have to go to ebay I think.

You can find steel track forks that are threaded or threadless without much problem.

well, you're not going to be able to fit a 1 1/8 headset on a headtube meant for a 1" steerer...

Bikes: Many all steel.

haven't put it on yet because i still need to get a starnut and cut the steerer. but side by side the rake is exactly the same as the stock kilo tt fork. both are listed as 43mm rake.
