Nitto Mini Bullhorn Handlebars?

Hey ... have any of you had any luck with these handlebars? I am doing a few upgrades to my bike and I was wondering if anyone owns or has used em before.

Personally, I've never used anything that small before so I dunno if I prefer a narrower size or not.

unogear 11-07-08 07:45 PM

Just the look feel uncomfortable! Same as chop a drop much cheaper!

Thetank 11-07-08 08:11 PM

That's as much as a rip-off as their straight flat bars. Nitto makes some of the nicest bars but dammit these simple ones should be cheaper IMO.

monsterkidz 11-07-08 09:06 PM

Those seem pretty useless for any sort of actual riding. (IMHO)

mander 11-07-08 09:13 PM

Bars over 30 cm wide tend to scrape on cars so it's a great idea imo

Thetank 11-07-08 09:18 PM

if you're riding anywhere there are cars driving 30cm apart I would suggest you don't ride your bike between them.

mander 11-07-08 09:23 PM

Sometimes u got no choice..

fuzz2050 11-07-08 09:49 PM

How wide are your hips?

Adam G. 11-07-08 09:54 PM

Just the word mini sounds horrendous, why? It's like these clowns I see riding around town with these 2 foot risers.

NotSoProjectPat 11-07-08 11:31 PM

i have 38cm nitto horns and i love em... 30cm seems a little TOO too small

Steve90068 11-07-08 11:33 PM

i have nitto 38cm bullhorns.......i considered the minis for a second but way too small for my taste

You are full of ****. Measure your shoulders, hips, q-factor. Tell me if any of those are as small as 30cm.

This thread is chock-full of stupidity. [(I)MO]

and call it a day... who knows maybe it will catch on and nitto will start to make them in a gazillion colors and charge through the roof for them!

The average adult male has a shoulder width of 40-48cm and hip width of 31-40cm. All of these values are more than the 30cm being offered. I don't care what gaps you shoot BRO, if you fit any regular bars will.

S'mofo butter layin' me to da' BONE! Jackin' me up... tight me!

You do realize 30 cm is less than 1 foot. If your shooting gaps like this you must be a relative of Flat Stanley.

mander 11-08-08 03:14 AM

Not everyone gets it... lol thats ok. Must be a courrier thing

the_don 11-08-08 03:34 AM

They look sweet! and pretty cheap too!
Amazon.jp have a few good deals on nitto bars (of course they only ship within Japan, sorry). I want to get a set of 36cm B-123AA's and a 38cm RB-021 as well. I currently have a B-259AA riser bar that I chopped down to 40cm, it's just a little too wide, but it'll do.

i saw those on a bike once and kinda didn't believe they were real so i circled around and scoffed at their proportional grossness, i kinda figured they were some old really kids size drops or something cut to hip standards, eww

the rb021s in 38 are kinda perfect though, whenever i end up switching out my cruiser bars i plan to go back to the rb021s
