Single Speed

I'm looking into getting my first s/s.

I was looking at these 3. Can anyone give me some insight on which is the best one?

I once saw a circus bear riding a bike.

It was a single speed. I would consider one of those. Assuming, of course, that you are a bear and want lots of cargo space.

Well, since this thread was started anyway, does anyone care to comment on which of the Bikes Direct SS/FG bikes has the best component sets?

Since it seems that the bikes are very similar (Hour, SST, Messenger), excluding the TT, it would seem that perhaps the best components might make it easier for people to select a bike.

I may be completely off base.

Also, I understand that none of the bikes are coming with grade A stuff, but for newbs like myself, knowing where these components stand against each other and in the grand scheme of things might be helpful -or at least good- information to know
