Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I hadn't seen these before...made by Czechs...price is decent, wonder if they're good. Does anyone have any experience with them?

I had one o0f the CX bikes (when they were Columbus steel...Nivachrom I think?). Hated to sell it, but gears and me are like gas and water.

I love mine, it's great. The welds are beautiful, the forks are real nice even though I didn't use them (although the ends are for very thin axles only). Shame they don't do a steel one anymore, but I'm sure the ally ones are nice too. Watch out for the track geometry if you're riding it one the street though.

Check out www.fixedgeargallery.com for pics of mine and an ally one (very nice bike).
