Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Oh yeah, regarding the forest off topic, don't you realize that there used to be TONS of forest area in the USA that no longer exists? We chopped tons of it down to make cow pastures and cities, and in South America they bulldoze hundreds of acres to grow coffee and other legal substances, not to mention cattle as well. Luckily there's some effort to slow down or stop this kind of agriculture.

Yeah I don't see Obama or anyone else making it actually legal on the federal level any time in the foreseeable future. Wouldn't they have to let out like 1/4 of the prison population or something?

doesnt justify smoking but if your healthy enough i guess its not that bad
A good friend of mine that died almost one year ago from a massive heart attack used to tell me a similar story. Your friend needs to go and see a doctor that's not a complete idiot.

It doesn't quite work like that. Laws aren't retroactive. Everyone on pot charges in jail would still have to serve their time. Sucks.

Word, I agree. Weed laws will likely pass more and more on the state level in the future as happened in MI and MA this election.

Cannabis legal status is way more likely to normalize under state laws than federal. Federal laws stiill supercede state but enforcement from the federal level would probably decline the more states legalize or decriminalized.

Also, I think it is more likely, at the federal level, that a Republican administration would deregulate (decriminalize) weed than a Democrat would legalize it. A preferable situation, in my opinion. KEEP YOUR LAWS (for or against) OFF MY STASH! :-)

I'd agree that a small-government, traditional-style Republican may be willing to decriminalize weed, but the trend with neo-cons does not seem to be small-govt' at all.

it might have already been said before, but smoking hookah before a ride is pretty luxurious.
