My soft tissues can handle it, even better if one has chamois.

Looks like it wants to punch you in the face then carry your limp body on to the nearest cliff and drop it down. Pretty badass.

Chamois is just to prevent chaffing, not pad your taint. Your soft tissue can't take it, that's why we sit on our bones.

If your wrists and palms hurt then work on your core strength so you're not supported wholly on your palms/wrist

Or just get some road bars instead of the track drops.

Your wrists and palms would be fine. We're talking a handful of degrees, not 45.

Seat post, Color, Bottle cages... and all those spacers! I'd also go with a different color saddle and grips.

I like that rack though, especially seeing what you carry on it in the other thread!

my "night mode" gets my bars pretty jumbled up too. brake lever, headlight, computer on stem. i was thinking about a bell but its just too cluttered.

is it awkward to ride the tops when the lever isnt closer to the stem? or is it 100% drops?

i really hardly ever use the brake. i just like having it in case.

it's more comfy with risers but i hate the look of the bike with risers. maybe i just need some nicer grips... the risers have black ourys. they dirty my palms and look played out.

I like the adidas bike sooo much, but whenever I see track drops with a cross lever on the unwrapped top section I want to punch babies. I think that it might be the new raleigh that has track drops with two cross levers. All I'll say is that I'm grateful that I am no where near a maternity ward right now

Sweet bike, but I'm not the biggest fan of CTEMA racks, they tend to mount to high up and make the handling go all wonky (although yours looks pretty good). Also, I seriously don't like the strut used for mounting, do they just hijack one of those from a Wald basket?

where's the rear fender? why not full fenders?

why did bikesdirect (or surly for that matter) not choose cantis over dual-pivots?

what's the difference between this bike and every other gyeswho bike?

front light, but no rear light? front light looks blocked by the cetma.
