I was reading up on it.. How does your reflective taped bike look at night with lights focused at it? I would imagine you can tell the cover up then

night shot:

Wouldn't that be kind-of the point of using the 3M rather than non-reflective vinyl sheeting? Beside's it still won't show WHAT is covered up. Also, I don't know a whole lot of bike thieves that walk around with a flashlight aiming it at bikes to see if one will light up.

I thought this bookmark might come in handy.
http://stores.ebay.com/MetroSellers-...QQftidZ2QQtZkm A green Kilo is on its way to me with a dent in the top tube, so I'm going to see if the vinyl tape can cover that up well enough. |
Get some pipe cover from Home Depot and secure it those little security plastic belts. Not only covers the logos, it also protects the frame from scratches and doesn't leave residue or marks.
Oh and obviously the best thing to do is to properly lock your bike, always! |
its really easy to remove decals off bikes, just use a hairdryer to heat up the decal and melt of the varnish and then scrape it off. clean it up with a little cut and polish and you're good to go.
