Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

That forum is full of morons, i used to float around there for awhile. I actually saw a few of them when i was racing in world championships and they were idiots...

I love speedboarding but Eugene is pretty mellow as far as hills go and the season doesn't really start up until spring anyway another pick for fun
I had just set the board up and the bushings made for no turning so i had to drift that whole turn

Huh? What's all the hate for? The guy is building himself a bike, and he's being dumped on. WTF?

BTW, the frame is nothing special; it has stamped dropouts FFS......

I've just developed a hate for silverfish because the guy who runs it thinks he is a pirate and is a complete tool, i guess i just don't give people a chance when it comes that forum anymore. I'm sure he'll do a fine job building it up if he lurks around here first

Yeah, that is a cheap old frame. i've got one sitting in my attic and my LBS has at least two or three gathering dust in their basement. Nothing special.

This trend of complaining about "ruining beautiful old road frames" is really getting on my nerves.

also, longboards are the wrong boards.
