does anyone run a 120 mm hub on a 126 mm bike?

I've spaced out a 120 Surly hub to run on a 126mm frame without any problems.

I have a 120mm on a 130mm frame, it's steel so I just bent it in using the sheldon "chair, string and 2by4" method
