Single foot strap without toe inserts
I've seen a couple of pics where people are running platform pedals with a wide single strap going diagonal across the pedal. Anyone know where I can find more info on them? I really prefer platforms but going fixed without any strapping in can sometimes suck.
Thanks, NAES

I think you're thinking of Power Grips.
I had a pair but didn't like them at all and ended up returning them.

They're called "power grips" and you can get them here: https://www.benscycle.net/index.php?m...oducts_id=3900

They're great. So much easier to get in and out of than clips/straps. They will fit for winter boots as well. This is coming from someone who never really liked toeclips though, so, grain of salt and all that.....

I've been running powergrips on a geared commuter type bike. I like them quite a bit, but am very interested to get a feel for toe clips and straps when my Kilo TT arrives.
My power grips are very easy to get into and out of and provide a good amount of security, though I have no point of comparison.

I think one of my main problems with them was using them on my MKS Sylvan Track pedals, and using them with my wide skate shoes. The way they bolted on, they held my feet kind of off to the side of the pedal and it felt awkward, so I switched back to clips and straps.
