Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

The frame, based on Bianchi’s Pista model, is exactly the same as a men’s bike, shrunken down for a women to ride
because all women are 5'1" and tinier...

It's funny that the poorly written submission was sent in by a PR firm. I had the feeling that the submitter wasn't a native English speaker until I looked up yellow-door, self-described as one of London's most respected PR companies. Whatever, these bikes should sell themselves anyway, what woman doesn't want acne on her ass?

this is true, but i really don't think you can reference a track world champion to justify the aforementioned bike.

just saying.

I never defended the bikes in question, just giving the ladies the benefit of the doubt.

Acne actually is a decent clothing company. Too bad about the bikes.

Also Vicky Pendleton is pretty heavily airbrushed to **** and back in that photo. Also what's double lollers is not only is she riding a road bike, but on a frickin' Trek? For shame, Vicky, for shame!

the idea that a girl couldnt push a 48/16(what it looks like to me) is recockulous.

also, lots of track racers ride road bikes. theo bos is leaving track for road racing.

p.s. why are guys so bothered by a lady having some muscle, are you afraid that she could beat you up?

This ladies bike is a result of a collaboration with Swedish fashion brand ACNE and Binachi. Apparently inspired by a young woman cycling in early morning New York, ACNE’s Creative Director was so fascinated by her, he designed a clothing collection “NEW STANDARD” in homage and teamed up with Binachi
That's an awful lot of effort to get laid

Having bikes be "ladies" and "mens" is sexist.
