Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Yet another reason SS/Fixed rocks!

I was going for a walk the other day (ok, so it was Easter Sunday, and my family and I were parading down the street in home-made easter hats singing "Here comes Peter Cotton Tail..." at the top of our lungs like drunken asylum escapees) and I found this along the way. It was on the sidewalk, ironically very near the new apartment building that I'm moving into... Yeah, yeah, thanks to certain family members, I'm going to have a bad rep before I even move in.

Yay singlespeed!!!

P.S. What's wrong? How do YOU celebrate "Happy Catholic Holiday Day"?

Yep....we're growing. Near this one particular java shop I frequent, I always see bits and pieces of derailleurs strewn about the sidewalks. I never thought about photographing them, though....

That is kinda wierd that I put the stuff in my pocket to take it home and photograph it for this thread, isn't it? I feel like a dork now.

Lucklust is capable of picking on someone? I thought he just shot everyone "six-guns" while trackstanding. Hence my nickname for him "Mr. SixGunsTrackStand" or "Mr. "Hey165,ICovetYourSakaes"

either one works

Just like him to pick on a woman. (something even I wouldn't do) I don't think he knows what he's dealing with though, I mean SBL does have the requisite anger to shove a pump in his spokes or....

ooh

ooh!!!

Battery WAR!!!

I should take pictures of the stuff I see in the streets around here.

Hmm... Project today on the way in. Stuff I see in the streets. I'll post here.

Gotta finish PM'ing the people who've I gotten mail from.

Lacklust,
Be nice, SBL is confronting some major issues and we need to support her.

SBL,
Admitting that you are a dork with compulsive tendencies is a good first step. I am very proud of you for the courage that it took to stand up and say it aloud.

Well heck! Any Catcholic holiday has to involve mass amounts of alcohol! I think that is written somewhere.

Violence on bicycles set to classical music involving throwing batteries at eachother.

No. You're supposed to leave the sock at home.

Only if you can ride with it above your head and the water has been removed.
