Redline 925 sizing comparison
Just recently I fronted the money for a 2008 redline 925 for commuting. I'm not used to riding bikes like these because the only bikes I've had before this were cheap department store crap that never fit me right.
I am 5'9'' and I have an inner leg length of 32''. I did the equations online and the bike shop guy told me that i should have a frame size of 56cm. I rode both the 54 and the 56 and decided that the 56 was a little bit too big. Do they tend to be bigger than usual? Will I regret the 54 and need to go to the 56?
Thanks for the help

I have a 2007 Redine 925. It's a 56 cm and I am 6' tall. I ride it but could have used a 58cm. I need a lot of stem and seat post.
That being said there is some info out there about the sizing being changed from 07 to 08 and a 07 58cm will fit more like a 08 54cm. Google it.

My answer to your question is the 54cm will fit you better than a 56cm
Check this PDF file.

I like the bike a lot, it's great on longer rides but I have moved on to more aggressive geometry. Have fun.

I'm 5'1" with a 31" standover and I bought a 52cm 925. It's just a bit small and I wish I went with a slightly larger frame. The saving grace on it is that the top tube seems to be longer than other bikes and combined with the bullhorns I can raise the seat and really lay out my upper body and still be very comfortable.
