That would depend on how comfortable you'd like to be on your bike, wouldn't it?

the stem i have now has a negative rise.. someone wants to sell me one of these stems for 20$ so ill prob do it and then be able to decide if i need something different later on. I am kinda a noob so i dont really have a strong opinion at this point because i never really though about it on my current bike becasuse i just used the stem that came on the frame (its a conversion). For this build i will be selecting most of the componets so i am just trying to sort it all out

If you want a removable face plate, your best bet is to get a Threadless adapter. That way you can use a regular thredless stem and flip it to see if you like positive or more negative rise.

you actually use one of those "if you attempt to steal this bicycle, expect me to beat you about the head and face"? stickers? I got a few from laek house but have decided that it would probably encourage theft
