Any Experience With Wippermann 108 Chain?

I have a gear hub bike with a 48T 1/8" Sugino track chainring so I need to run with 1/8" chain. Any members have experience with using the Wippermann 108 chain? I do not want to change the chainring as it seems to have zero chain tension variation in use, a truly round chainring. Excellent for FG, SS, or Gear Hub use.

My LBS owner has told me that he finds that Wippermann chain seems to wear at about 1/3 the rate of other chains he has used on his FG MTB.
