Any one know where to buy reflective adheisive tape that will stick to a bike frame?

3M Reflective tape should be available at your local hardware store or even an automotive store. Sticks to the frame really good. When removing it from the frame most of the adheive stays on the frame but it is easily removed with WD-40

The 3M stuff is great. I've got strips of it on my helmet & bag, making it easy for cars to hunt me down and run me over. :P I've got a strip of it on my Chrome bag, too; it bugged me that the weave in the buckle straps was the only reflective surface.

I agree, the 3M stuff is great and should sell for about $1/ft in your local bike shop or hardware store. If you want more colors and choices than standard red, amber and white, here's some links to Identi-tape's web site:

Back to the original question, what about good ol safety pins? That's what I use.

Navy pilots use relective tape to create the designs on their helmets (not allowed in the USAF).
I try to do the same and use the regular white and red reflective tape from Wal-Mart and cut out designs for my bike and helmet.
I did attach some to my backpack by doubling it to itself and then ziptieing it to the bag.

i might just go ahead and buy of that tape for my commuter. does the tape still hold its reflective properties under a few coats of clear? does anyone have any experience with krylon's REFLECT-A-LITE spraypaint? combining the two products might be pretty effective. HereNT, sending pm.
