Hed 3 Fixed Rear?

Did Hed ever make a fixed-gear Hed 3 rear? I've had good experiences with this wheel on my other bikes, and already have a Hed3 front on my fixed-gear bike. Thanks!

I *think* you can get a kit to convert a standard road H3 hub to a track set up. That would probably be much easier than finding one that came from the factory that way. Especially since tarck bikes have produced an excess of H3 rears.

That would work, but I think there is a kit from Hed to turn it into a legit track wheel with 120 spacing. I could swear I've seen posts about it on here before. I want to say it's about $50.

that's for wheels which have a thread hub i believe. and the "kit" only offers new spacers to respace the wheel to 120.

the surly fixxer will take a rear wheel shimano based and replace the hub with the surly unit
