Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikes: A fixed gear, a vintage roadie and a POS.

Is that with or without the training wheels on?

Mad skids or epic fail, you decide.

Bikes: Primary: little orange 70s LeJeune track bike, AKA Tomato Frog, and (secondary) a noisy old Botecchia mixte frame ten-speed of similar vintage.

A bit more dignity just drained from the world.

The Segway community just breathed a sigh of relief that someone will be joining them at the bottom.

Hah! They had one of those at the local snobby bike shop. Just sitting there with all the high-end Bianchis and the like. And they talked down to me...

Massive fail. At least I can sorta give Randy Ross's product a pass due to all the T&A.

Sadly, the slower mofos just organized the World Championships in the Netherlands in 2008. Apparently they did not invite you? No worries though, next WC seems to be in Italy, 2010. Go for it!
