fuji obey fork ends problem

okay, so today I got my new fuji obey frame in the mail.
I open it up install BB and headset and am eager to get riding.
I go to put my front wheel on and it wont fit into the fork ends...its not the spacing on the axel, the drop out is just too small.
whats the best way to go about this? im thinking about calling fuji.

im 100% serious, this is the weirdest thing ive ever came across.
I tried my friends quick release and another friends wheel with a different hub and neither worked.

How close is it to fitting? Maybe the paint is just thick on the dropouts if it is painted there. When my bareknuckle fork was new it was hard to get the front wheel in and out. Now it's fine.

could it be that the ends possibly got bent inward while in shipping? i've seen (usually older forks) where this is the case. the axle would fit fine if you pried the fork around the axle and slide it on the ends, it would fit at the "cup," where it should sit while mounted, but couldn't slide in and out.

I bet wearyourtruth is right, the tip is probably bent in. Does it go in either side at all?

A couple years ago I was having a headset installed at the mechanic dropped the fork on the ground and it bent in one of the dropout tips. I've used it for years without problems, but I have to whack the wheel on the ground to get it in or out.

i bought an old norco frame for my girlfriend and i had the same problem, i ended up using a screwdriver to space the fork ends a little bit and i was able to get the wheel in there.

why not get a new fork with the warranty, if your going to buy brand new have a brand new bike that works not a broken brand new bike.

Depending on the age of youre wheels, the axle might be a different size, not uncommon. I had a bike that was pretty old and my Mavic/Formula axles wouldnt fit.

Try a different fork with the same wheel.
