Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

14 with a set of Black chainring/crankset will give you the uniqueness you are looking for without people wondering if you are a clown. That's my vote.

how about you worry about riding your bike instead of trying to match it to the color of your pale ass

Not looking to run colored tires. So far 10 and 14 look like they're the most-liked/least-hated. So if I run a black crank with 14, what's a recommended crankset/BB setup? I've seen a lot of suginos. Frankly, the IRO set rides really nice - might not drop it. I think that comparatively the Jamie Roy is nearly as stiff as my Cervelo Soloist setup: I can really lay down a lot of power.

So far, I've had my bike with me almost every minute of the day: I'm using it to get everywhere faster.

4 or 10. Black cranks for sure, don't want to get in the realm of having a ghost bike....
