Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Have you tried it? Do you love it? Do you hate it? I would LOVE to hear some opinions.

At least it seems you are actually capable of reading that website. Unlike the rest of us, haha.

I'm really curious about this thing. They are at the handmade bicycle show, so there are some out there. SOMEONE here has tried one....

Bikes: surly steamroller w/coaster brake, electra single speed cruiser, specialized rockhopper commuter, no-name single speed folder, 700c ultimate wheel, 24" unicycle, specialized bmx lsd, single seat single speed huffy tandem, pink upsidedown parade bike

That web site interface sucks ass.
My worry is that it says the hub is not suitable for "tandems, transport bicycles or similar". I wonder if that is because the mechanism would fail under heavy torque or if it is an axle load issue. Does it have a hollow axle on one side for the screw mechanism?
