It was going so well until I got to the bars and gold wheels. I'm not a fan of track drops on a non-track only bike. The gold...........well, I actually hate gold colored stuff, but overall, it's not a bad build at all! I agree with you that Leader over decals their stuff. I loved the NASCAR comment! haha Send that thing out for a $20 bead blasting, and rock your rattle can skills! Your paint job looks great on the first bike!

To the stem comment - no. As far as bars go, I feel its limiting with straight/risers I prefer the look of drops over most straight styled ones. On my next build, I plan on going with straight bars to change it up a bit.

Looks good. Take the stickers off the rims and line your stem valves up with you tire labels.

Thanks stickers were taken off after picture was taken; forgot about them because I was too excited to ride when it was done.

Got another candidate for my next build possibly. Picked it up today for a nice price. The welds are smoothed and seamless which is a nice touch from Schwinn. Serials date back to March 1974 - anyone know what exact model it is?
