Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

1. 'big plans' + 'kilo' = it's a trap!

2. god southern illinois looks boring. lol at cerveloists.

3. the girl in the orange shirt has a yellow bike, so either you're colorblind, a chauvinist, or both.

"hey random person who is not in this conversation (insert unrelated phrase without any punctuation to denote the separate thought)"

I just put the frost Deep Vs on the Surly. I'm not sure if I like them but they were really hard to find for cheap. I might sell them and get black.

I saw a 40 something homeless old guy this monday riding a Watanebe track frame in Yotsuya (we stopped at the lights next to each other at the same time), he had a woolly hat on, with an old giro bike helmet perched on top (strapped around the top of the helmet for extra crusty power) and he had a T-serve bag and walkie talkie on.

perpetuating my myth that messengers are bums...

i know, im sorry
my maddy has more of a classic fit. i have a little more than a handful of seatpost showing, but i was told that thats how bikes used to be fit, including the original 80's madison.
