Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Now that I'm sober, I can see how that bike could go from jackass to ok in less than 5 minutes.

longer stem, level and taped bars, level and lower saddle, and maybe I'd like it.

The stem length and seat height aren't jackass. Pretty similar to what I've got on my Chesini.

Tape and angles, yes.

I agree! I like em! Decals and all

On another note,
I forgot who, I think Dr.Banzai? But I remember seeing his build and saw that this frame actually looked pretty good. +1 to his Cinelli!
EDIT: Found it

Also, this build too --

Finished assembling it finally. After a brutally long repaint process it is close to my standard; close enough for me to ride at least. Will post better pics/old pictures tomorrow.

It's not on both sides. Fizik tape has an adhesive strip on the inside, and understandable there's no logo on that side. Also only two of the colours have the logo - black with white logo and white with black logo. All other colours have no logo.

This is my all-white, no-logo Fizik Microtex:

Not much to tell. Custom lugged frameset by Sanner:

Deda double butted oversize tubing
Civia disc fork
Raceface Cadent X-type crankset
S3X rear wheel
DT Swiss 340 disc front wheel
Airborne Ti seatpost
VO hammered fenders
Shellacked Velox rim tape on Ritchey Biomax handlebars

my tk2 reduced to commuter mode:

bike: 2006 58cm felt tk2. not too crazy about the bar tape - it was bodged together from left over tape i had from two bikes, hence the mismatch and lack of coverage. generic spd pedals, ritchey wcs 4-axis 110mm stem, deda newton shallow bars. everything aside from the stem and bars are oem from 2006.

extras: i ended up getting a pretty gross drop forged 15mm wrench for the saddlebag, but it was the only one i found under the 7" carry on luggage limit for when i fly (i like to travel light and avoid checking bags). other interesting bits include a dog collar led red light i use for the back in conjunction with a blackburn tail light, and a topeak alien xs chain tool (the smallest chain tool i have found). i was looking at getting the magicshine 900, but with the recent recall, i am looking at other lamps. right now, just using a bontrager ion and a generic flashing led up front.
