Now that I'm sober, I can see how that bike could go from jackass to ok in less than 5 minutes.
longer stem, level and taped bars, level and lower saddle, and maybe I'd like it.

Cinelli Mash Frame 55 CM
Silver 170mm Omniums - Stock chainring 48t
Thomson Elite Stem 100mm 10deg
Thomson Elite Seatpost
Fizik Arione Saddle (From the Deal/Sale thread )
Izumi Eco Chain
Wheelset - Miche low flange hubs laced to Ritchey Z-Pro Deep rims (Interesting story behind this!)
Miche cog carrier currently 15t cog
Vittoria Tires
Nitto Rb-021 bars - Surprisingly comfy IMO
And waiting on Shimano 105 5700 SPD Clipless pedals!
-- I think that covers everything?
On another note,
I forgot who, I think Dr.Banzai? But I remember seeing his build and saw that this frame actually looked pretty good. +1 to his Cinelli!
EDIT: Found it
Also, this build too --

Finished assembling it finally. After a brutally long repaint process it is close to my standard; close enough for me to ride at least. Will post better pics/old pictures tomorrow.

my tk2 reduced to commuter mode:
bike: 2006 58cm felt tk2. not too crazy about the bar tape - it was bodged together from left over tape i had from two bikes, hence the mismatch and lack of coverage. generic spd pedals, ritchey wcs 4-axis 110mm stem, deda newton shallow bars. everything aside from the stem and bars are oem from 2006.
extras: i ended up getting a pretty gross drop forged 15mm wrench for the saddlebag, but it was the only one i found under the 7" carry on luggage limit for when i fly (i like to travel light and avoid checking bags). other interesting bits include a dog collar led red light i use for the back in conjunction with a blackburn tail light, and a topeak alien xs chain tool (the smallest chain tool i have found). i was looking at getting the magicshine 900, but with the recent recall, i am looking at other lamps. right now, just using a bontrager ion and a generic flashing led up front.
