Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Thanks for the kind words. This was not my first bike build but first FG. It was a learning process in wheel lacing and things like that.

It started as this so...

@Mathew. great looking bike!
I know Harry, he is a great guy. I was talking to him over my Christmas break, and he said they were going to start making frames again in January.

Looks like it would be a tight squeeze getting fenders on it, unless you're referring to the marginally useful "shortie" style.

I threw some parts on the GF's Kilo. The TET is relegated to fair weather duty until further notice.

yeah, chainline is better than with 105's but not much. i thought they had the same bb spindle as KZ2's but it turns out no. kinda bought under false pretense. still like them better than the busted ass 105s and they are 172.5 which is the right length for me.

Bikes: Check the sig to find out

Switched around some tires to make "new" feeling bikes

I'm cheating here, but I'm loving the way it looks with the tires. I gotta stop the horrible squealing of the V brakes!! Otherwise, feels like a new bike again

Swapped the Apples to the Marathon XRs for a lil more snow traction. I wanna swap the bars and put risers or bullhorns on it.

^what's in the wonder envelope?

also, risers:

three shims to make them damn levers work. better than riding four miles with the brake levers semi-clamped.... i'm a sketchy ****er.

if you think brakeless is dumb, try it with a freewheel and full fenders. ted shred nothin.
