I need help, FAST.

I have the chance to get a really cheap rear specialized tri spoke, but its cassette axle style, for a 8, 9 , 10 speed. i was wondering if you can buy a seperate axle for it, to make it fixed gear.

I was also told tehre is something made by surly that can do that, but i was wondering how much that would cost, and if its worth the trouble.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP, PLEASE REPLY SOON

There is probably a very good reason this thing is so cheap.

It's probably just something aesthetic like a crack in the carbon. The smart buyer will cover this with a sticker and *shazam* it's like a new tri-spoke only with a sweet sticker.

* seriously though, don't ride a cracked carbon wheel. You'll die.

Its said to be never ridden, bought a year earlier, comes with tire.

And its not being sold by a 15 year old from SF, so im pretty sure its not cracked. And theres no stickers besides the Specialized logo.

even if it is cracked or if you cannot convert the hub, you can always just carry it around with you when go to the coffee shop or to a club, right?

so I'd say, go for it!
