Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? 99.9% sure it's a Basso made by Aegis in maine.

Course it'd be pretty rad if it had the deltas, but it wouldn't have been $300 then, no would it?

Totally forgot about those^

Good find nonetheless +/- deltas. They're just brakes. Monoplanars aren't that bad of a consulation prize.

The right side shifter boss is loose, I have half a mind to annoy my friend who has a waterjet until I can get him to make me a pair of track ends for it. Hell, it already has the track drops on it.

Just a pair of full-finger gloves. Fingerless don't quite cut it in 40 degree temperatures.

Looks like 30 bucks a piece, not too bad if they live up to the rep.

Some Mash Volee tape for my roadie. I think it's about time I try something besides microtex or cloth tape.

I ordered the white version of same pattern from them for my Raleigh Fixie + new anatomical handlebar drops to replace the uncomfortable original bars

its the first official tape ive ever used outside of using old tube to wrap my bars, but i really like it
its quite grippy with/without gloves and cushiony enough without being puffy

MKS BM-7 BMX pedals for a MTB-like project. I wanted something symmetrical and that could fit toe clips. I am not surprised, but disappointed that I had to overhaul the bearings before I could use them (bearings adjusted way too tight, too little grease). This seems to be WAY too common for new pedals and hubs these days . /rant

had to do that with my mks gr9s right out of the packaging...they felt rather grindy and dry, but a healthy slobbering of grease helped it out. prettty annoying to say the least though.

So bellsbike on ebay put up tons of older cutters that are brand new. V1's all the way to v5's. Really like my cutter and the geo. And a lot of the older versions had been appealing to me. Have been on the lookout for a few specific older cutters, especially the v5 in light blue. Luckily they had one in my size. So went ahead and snagged it. Just gonna move all the stuff from my current cutter over for now.

Love this colorway...
