Yes, it's life in a retirement community.

That doesn't even make sense, "retirement home" people don't walk.

Oh, there goes the Florida in me talking. To clear it up, there's a lot of retired communities/neighborhoods and then there are hospices...retirement homes.

Explaining rhetoric = bad joke

Them tube liners working well?

I bought one of these for my helmet, preparing for fall riding.

Also four of these, I'm feeling like the ones I have are going to snap soon.

Word, I already feel the **** storming coming. The cheapest decent cog + lockring I could find would have run me about 50 dollars with shipping and I couldnt afford it. I've got a flip flop hub so Im just going to attach it to my off side and test it out. If I dig 17T i'll buy the surly + dura ace lock ring.

For the fG: 17t eighthinch cog w/their current coupon. Came to $10 shipped.

For the FR: Went to wider 28" (710mm) bars 3mos. ago, they're no longer wide enough. Got some 29.5" (745mm) Sunline V1 risers on the way.

But really the only way I could really test to see if they work is if I actually ran over nails or something that punctures my tire. I'll call it a success if I go for a month without a flat though. So far it's been only a few days.

I ordered the same, minus the lockring. They don't have to be a matched pair if you already have a good lockring, or.....? Not sure. I just guessed you could swap out cogs as long as they were the right size (1/8"). Amirite!?

Yup. I have a stock Formula lockring and people say it's a hub stripper, so I went with the EI.

I don't know about the formula being a hub stripper. It strips itself though. I tore off 3 edges of the 4 notches getting it off for my Durace lockring. And I have a proper lockring tool and know how to use it. The aluminum was just too soft.
